Hmmm. That sure explains quite a bit. Perhaps that should be restated as "man is as shallow as he acts?" I never cease to be amazed at people. They are so predictable in their self-centeredness. I would like to think that I am not quite so self-centered, but alas, I fear it is not so. The rant is not directed at anyone in particular, just a general rant.
I am really glad that the cooler weather has returned. This weekend's 89 degree heat was just too much. I look forward to brisk early morning walks with the dog and the crunch of the leaves. I am going to rake this weekend and hope that we can have a leaf party with the boys. I think they will like that. We are planning an outing to Pine Tree Apple Orchard this week. They have a corn maze, hay rides, a pumpkin patch, picnic tables--so we are packing chili and corn muffins, in addition to all the apples and apple goodies. I am going to grab some Haralson's and make some apple crisp. That should go well with a cup o' "rosie lee."
